Hotel Swani（斯万尼酒店）

After staying in riads we finally booked this place and it was really nice with parking. Unlike riads you have to park so far away and drag your luggage to the riad. We are happy to booked this place with plenty of breakfast food to choose from. Breakfast is great I love the room bcos it has a hair dryer and it cleansorry i forgot to take pictures but will stay again in this place God willing to visit Morroco again

Stayed here while visiting Meknes within a tour group. I stayed in a room twin bed room. It was fine. The shower head needed to be replaced, however it did the job. The room is clean and tidy and good enough for a nights rest. There is no safe in the room. The bed was comfortable to sleep on.

We stayed at the Hotel Swani for one night during our Intrepid tour. Staff friendly. Good free WiFi. Room clean. Warm shower. Lift. Small honesty library for the convenience of travelers. Basic, typical Moroccan breakfast.

Positives, nice staff, clean room, comfortable bed. Room was small but had all we needed. The balcony was a nice touch and good soundproofing on the windows. Now for the other issues, TV remote was low on battery so did not work very well, the lovely balcony was flanked by flowerpots of dried dead plants, the toilet ran all night and the toilet paper holder was missing as was the toilet paper when we arrived. Towels were small and worn but clean and a 2 each we were fine. Breakfast was adequate the rooftop setting was delightful. We slept well and I would return. Add some cared for plants in the built in flower pots on the balcony and a little maintenance and it would be fabulous.

Stayed here one night on a tour of Morocco and would recommend this hotel if travelling to Meknes on a budget. The rooms were spacious and the bathroom was clean (unlike many budget hotels in Morocco). The highlight of the stay was the nice breakfast in the rooftop dining area - fresh juice and a wide selection of hot and cold dishes.

We had an overnight stay in Meknès at the hotel Swani. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel has a rooftop terrace restaurant where they serve both dinner and breakfast. There is a somewhat western style breakfast available on the menu. It is approx 20 min walk to the closest supermarket and approx 30 min to the center of the town.

After a long day’s travel we spent the night at this Hotel and were impressed with the effective service and helpfulness of staff. We had a room on the 5th floor with a roomy terrace providing a great outlook over the town. While there were initially some problems with getting the electricity to work, this was attended to quickly as well as other request we had. Breakfast was plentiful with a great selection of dishes, including fresh goat cheese. Overall we were very happy with the facilities and would gladly return

We had a comfortable, quiet stay for one night on the way to Chefchaouen. The roof deck was a wonderful spot to enjoy the sunset. We placed our orders for dinner when we checked in late in the afternoon. Our guide encourage people to select the non-fish choices. The restaurant served a satisfying dinner and breakfast.

I had a business travel to Meknes and booked for one night in this Hotel. It was a great experience. I love the quietness of the place , the comfort of the bed, and the messages they ve put to make you aware about environmental issues. I love also their respect to the islamic faith by putting a sign indicating the position of al Kibla ( something that I struggle to find elsewhere). For the food , I came out of time so my review doesn't include that. For the service , the people there were super cool and super polite.

Stayed here for the night on the way to Chefchaoune. Good rooms with A/C nice comfortable bed clean bathrooms. The resturant ont the roof has a great selection of Moroccan dished good Targine. You can byo if your traveling in Ramadan. The sunset view from the roof over the old city is awesome while hearing the call to prayer. Good wifi

I just returned from a 13 day tour of all of Morocco. Our tour group stayed in Meknes for one night at the Hotel Swani. The hotel is not very close to the sites you'll want to see in the city and sits sort of on the edge of the town. But, the hotel is very nice. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom wasn't huge but not small either. The wifi in the room was very unreliable. There is a top floor restaurant with a nice balcony looking at different areas of the city. Great at sunset and in the morning. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel and the food was very good. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Located in new town, this clean bright hotel provided a comfortable overnight stay with spacious room and spotless bathroom. Terrace restaurant was good for evening meal and breakfast. Nothing fancy and a little chaotic but fine. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

We stayed three nights in this hotel during our 20 day tour of Morocco. Compared to other hotels or riads (typical Moroccan guest houses) of the same price this hotel is absolutely of a higher level. The room was new, very clean and spacious, the staff very friendly and always at disposal. There is also a nice restaurant on the terrace open till 22.30. The hotel is just 10 minutes far from the main square of Meknes, that you can easily reach by taxi for just 10 dirham (€ 1). Great value for money.

Good service everything is clean Anything you want you can find it The service is so good and the best think are the people who work there , they are so kind and nice I recommend this place

We appreciated the flexibility and help that we received from the front desk, especially when we realized at the last minute, that we had booked the wrong date. They assured us that we would not be charged twice and even gave us a rate that was better than the one we had booked! The staff was so much fun and we really felt like they enjoyed having us stay with them.

Pros: Great Breakfast in Hotel Restaurant with an Amazing view and wonderful service by the waiters. Overall, the hotel staff were nice and helpful. The Hotel was clean and the Rooms were fairly big. Rooms were cozy and beds were comfortable. Location was also good (A little away from the main hustle and bustle of Medina). Cons: The bathroom amenities can be improved. Rooms are not sound proof and noisy neighbors can be very disturbing. The curtains were a bit old and dirty.

Nice spacious rooms. Received an upgrade once we arrived. Great food in hotel restaurant and amazing service by the waitress. Overall, the hotel staff were nice and helpful. Only problem with the hotel was the toilets. The flush didn't work properly.
